Prior to joining Astuno Law PC, Andre was a military attorney in the U.S. Marine Corps. His broad experience includes working as a field examiner in the National Labor Relations Board where he investigated and adjudicated labor law matters. As a contract specialist for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, he awarded and managed military construction contracts.

Andre’s untiring and focused approach to resolving legal problems is shaped by his Marine Corps training. He first enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in 2002 and deployed as a rifleman to Iraq in 2005. As a judge advocate, he represented clients facing criminal and administrative action.  He provided family law, consumer protection law, immigration law, and tax services to members of the military. During military exercises, he advised commanders on legal issues impacting plans and operations.  He continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve and participates in exercises in the Asia-Pacific region.

Andre earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science-International Relations in 2004 from the University of California San Diego.  He was awarded a merit scholarship from Western State College of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree in 2009.  He attended the University of San Diego School of Law on a merit scholarship and earned a Master of Laws in Business and Corporate Law in 2016.  In 2018, he completed a two-year certification program in government contracting through the Defense Acquisition University and gained a keen understanding of federal procurements. He is working on a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law to better support clients with tax, business, and estate planning matters.

Fluent in Korean and Spanish, Andre is ready to support clients with cross-border transactions, international business and tax issues, contract drafting and review, investigations, dispute resolution, business structuring, and estate planning.
